Speculations Blackbeard pirate hype up fights

just the captain john/rocks pirates link. john was killed by his crew for not revealing what his secret treasure was and buggy has it now. (or the map leading to it). maybe one of the ancient weapons got put into his care after rocks was beaten idk. i think its possibly one of the ancient weapons because of big mom and kaido's new onigashima project speech where they say they're going to get the ancient weapons, then get one piece, like they already know what they are and how to get them
Yeah, I kinda have the same idea...
I mean, Captain John sure does get mentioned a lot of times so far.. Buggy sought his treasure, Luffy had a map to it in ID, Moriah captured his body, him being part of Rox crew... I mean, there's definitely something more to this guy than him being just some dead guy from 20 years ago.
And him actually having something like an ancient weapon would kinda fit that whole idea... That, or probably some poneglyph.

Atleast one Admiral will fall against BB . And I think it will be Kizaru because of all these blackhole light match up.
BB is carrying will of Xback and is actively hunting 3 ancient weapons. BB vs Marin's is invitable.
About BB vs RH . It's obvious but I have doubt that Oda have balls to kill or show defeat of characters like Shanks , Ben , Yassop after 20 years of hype.
But it depends on which root Oda wants to take.
In my opinion , BB and RH will happen at final war , where all parties will present.
BB is carrying will of Xback and is actively hunting 3 ancient weapons. BB vs Marin's is invitable.

I know Oda is repetitive with his off-screen stuff but come on. Off-screen a top tier (Kizaru) just to hype up another top tier (Blackbeard) would be bad writing. Just like @Jailer said, off-screening one of the most anticipated fight would be underwhelming imo. I would rather have an all out battles between Admirals vs Blackbeard Pirates than off-screening an Admiral.

I am starting to believe those who said Oden might actually be Catarina in disguise. I don't really buy the whole fox or Hiyori changing to Oden to encourage the Scabbards bit at all. It's just too cruel. There is nothing stopping Catarina from pulling the same stunt she did with Moira again. Yup, It's definitely that bitch.
Well,Laffite already infiltrated Mariejois once!So post skip BB pirates with all kinds of DF powers suited for infiltration should be able to do so easily!Even revolutionaries infiltrated Mariejois,i just hope BB pirates are also competent fighters!Burgess seemed kinda weak!I think BB will either get Pluton at alabasta or try to steal devil fruits from former warlords(or recruit them)!
I think first of all BB doesnot necessarily need a fight to be hyped up if say he ends up awakening both his DFs & Prime Xebec's power which could lay dormant in him. That alone would imply that this is Prime Xebec with 2 awakened DFs implying surpassing even Prime Roger.
But say oda decides to still use fights to hype BB then i think that BB discovering Aokiji is betraying him or something like that followed by BB absolutely dominating Aokiji is pretty big hype.
Despite of fans repeating this BB vs Shanks story i higly doubt BB will kill Shanks. I am sure that Shanks meeting Gorosei will lead to a marraige of convinience where both of them don't want BB to break the balance of power or get that close to PK level. To top that Mihawk potentially allying with Shanks implies that BB won't have it that easy vs both Shanks + Mihawk.
Anyways Oda said that in 2021 Shanks will finally make a move. Can't wait for act 3 to end :)

I don't think any blackbeard pirates are going to be hyped strength-wise aside from Blackbeard himself.
The manga is ending and only Blackbeard from their group is relevant plotwise so i think it is reasonable to predict Oda will treat the blackbeard pirates as he is currently doing the Beast pirates then only have Teach be a force to be reckoned with.
Oda's postskip record is certainly not encouraging when it comes to fulfilling the hype of a group of characters,he instead tries to be faithful to the hype when it comes to individuals.
Conclusion ; Blackbeard pirates aren't going to be hyped through anybody,the hype is going to stay vague and only Teach will be the real deal and will be hyped either through an Admiral or Shanks.
