Speculations Blackbeard Will Get The One Piece

Blackbeard Will Get The One Piece
I have suspected this for a while.

The most upsetting thing that could happen later is that Luffy seemingly defeats everyone he needs to and then has a clear path to the One Piece only to find out that he was cleverly tricked by Blackbeard.

I imagine it will go something like..

"Yay!! Luffy won! Now we can save the world!"

Then Luffy looks around and realizes something isn't right. He then yells at his crew saying "He's already there!!"

and they ask who Luffy is talking about, and he responds "Blackbeard."

This sets the stage for a final showdown between him and Blackbeard, and Blackbeard will say some shit like...

"Zehahahaha! Luffy!! You're too late. I've already begun- yadda yadda."

This sort of thing would be in true Blackbeard-fashion.

Idk about the real One Piece.

But me and Blackbeard bros are all agreeing that he will earn the title of "Pirate King" and be some sort of "final monarch", who will have to be taken down by Luffy and co.

The wording is important

It's alluded that whoever FINDS it will hold the fate of the world in their hands.

But what if two people find it at the same time and then have a fight over which dream is more important to determine the fate of the world?

I think it's ultimately who USES it. Not who finds. It's possible more than one person can find it.

They repeat the notion that in the wrong hands the Ancient Weapons and other such things can bring great destruction, and if they are in the right hands they will bring great prosperity. It all depends on who uses it.

So like... Blackbeard might find it first and start using it, but ultimately Luffy will wrestle it from his control.

You are right.

But we also have to consider what Rayleigh said.
The Roger Pirates were too early = something was missing for them.

Let's say all Yonkos arrive at Lough Tale and witness the truth and have some sort of treasure infront of their eyes.
It would be in line with Oda's writing that everyone might see a different angle of the One Piece.

While I can see Teach probably acquiring it, I still think that Luffy has the final components to unleash the whole 100% of the One Piece angle.

Either way, there are alot of spins to this theory. I like alot of them, so in discussions people are free to meet me in the middle.

However, your idea depends entirely on the supposition that Blackbeard doesn't have what it takes to use it properly or that he can't use it at all.

If Blackbeard can't use it at all, does that also mean nobody but Luffy can use it?

Personally, I think that only Luffy and Blackbeard have the potential to use it. Our difference in reasoning is that you believe Blackbeard doesn't have that potential.

There is no middle ground on that subject. He either has the potential or he doesn't lol

We can agree to disagree at that point.

What would the true potential of the One Piece be? That's also important. We have different thoughts on it. My thought is that the One Piece's purpose is to recreate the Ancient Kingdom.

Therefore, my belief here is that whoever finds the One Piece essentially becomes the ruler of the most powerful kingdom on the planet. This includes having access to all of its technology/science.

So... who finds it will be able to use superior technology. The only thing that would be an issue is if someone decides to use that superior technology for evil purposes, and not good ones.

Concerning the "missing thing" that the Roger crew didn't have - that's another argument altogether. It may have something to do with it. It would certainly disqualify practically everyone but Luffy if that "missing something" is something only he possesses. This would also defeat the purpose of anybody else finding it, though, because if they found it then it wouldn't do anything.

I am not set on it, but as this is a chosen one story, it's leaning towards yes.

Tho yeah, in a fight for the One Piece, I can still see Blackbeard maybe utilizing something in a malicious way. Maybe his powers can serve as an alternate key for the chosen one story.

It is out there.

If it is "potential" just, then yeah I guess. It is there. He has it.
