We've seen that Kaido knows about Joy Boy and he wanted to be the Joy Boy, he even told Luffy that it looks like he can't be the Joy Boy as well.

So what about Blackbeard's view about Joy Boy?

Since Blackbeard was in Whitebeard's crew for more than 20 years, and fought against Roger Pirates, he is experienced enough to learn about one thing or two. Of course this doesn't mean he should know. Oda also informed us about Blackbeard doing research about history, and likes reading history, Oda told us that Blackbeard has 2 hobbies, one is gambling and the other is researching history.

--- Does Blackbeard know about Joy Boy?

--- If he knows what would be his stance? Wants to be one or against it?

Perhaps the reason BB wanted to find Yami Yami no mi, it's because it's the only DF ability that can counter Nika's god ability. Perhaps he knew Nika/Joy Boy will return, and when it does, his Darkness will be the only thing to counter its absurd godly powers so this will make BB the Final Villain of this series.

I can see Teach also wanting to become Joyboy, and I think it would be interesting if his ideal of Joyboy is different from what the other characters in OP think about him.

There's a possibility that he could want to become the "Anti Joyboy" in a sense and that's why he wanted the Yami Yami.

I'm not sure how deep Teach's knowledge of the Void Century is, I wouldn't be surprised if Kaido for example knows more because of his time in Rocks and his Oni heritage, but I think Teach may have made some discoveries.

Teach knows a lot of things that we don't know about, as someone who likes researching history and is a fam of Xebec, I'm sure he's aware of Joyboy.

I don't however think he wants to be Joyboy, as Joyboy is associated with Joy and freeing others. Luffy's very being is that of Joyboy, and considering that Teach is the antithesis of Luffy, I think he wants to be the opposite of Joyboy, bringing chaos and despair.

Luffy vs Kaido has basically been everything the people saying Blackbeard would be a “gatekeeping” villain and not make it to EoS would be.

Their fight can’t be over whether Luffy or Blackbeard is the one people have been waiting for- because we already know that is Luffy. And not in the way we’ve always known because Luffy is the protagonist, we’ve actually had a character outright say “Luffy is Joy Boy.” It‘s confirmed. And Kaido has already fulfilled the role of failed Joy Boy.

It’s pretty pointless then having another fight against a pirate who can’t be Joy Boy anyway because the reader already knows that Luffy is.

Blackbeard will have his own aims (King of the World). He may even want Luffy to become Joy Boy because of the chaos that Joy Boy will bring, cause Blackbeard thrives on chaos. It’s something he can take advantage of.

Well Kaido doesn't aim anymore to become joyboy, he was aware he may not be that Joyboy how King described in his legend

BB probably has some rough idea of joyboy but he has other plans probably. Or being a D clan he possibly resembles some other legend of the ancient past.

I think BB knows about Joy Boy but want to become World King to become Anti-JoyBoy.
To add to this, I think Oda really wants to play on the dramatic irony with Blackbeard and Joyboy too, you can see some examples of Oda's dramatic irony with the inspirations for these OP characters for example:

I can see Blackbeard being the Joyboy gone too far, allowing absolute freedom where nothing is off-limits, anything is allowed and nothing is persecuted. A truly lawless world (maybe literally especially in a way if Law dies too lmao)
