Also for the room, another reason why I think Hayumi is town here is that I know I'm town, me being tied to Hayumi is fantastic for Hayumi, very little reason for him to contest it like this unless he's using that contest to push a wagon onto Luka. He isn't doing that, he's just contesting it on it's own merits. Not a perfect science of course, but something to consider imo.

I don’t understand how you came to that conclusion without also iso’ing me, cuz if anything I noted Ratchet’s town read of me after I’ve been sussing them as a potential buddying attempt I just haven’t addressed it.

I think this is a bit silly though. I gave my reasons for that read and you haven't actually addressed it - almost anything could be "potentially buddying" really if you want it to be. Positionally, do I really stand to gain anything by apparently scum reading my mates and town reading people who want to kill me? Not really.

It's not really a solid point. You've established a potential motivation behind my defence without seemingly any regard for whether my read even makes sense, and beyond that, arguing about possible motivations is probably the broadest point you can make in Mafia. It's very hard not to come up with something that sounds halfway plausible for any faction, provided you have the inclination. And I think you know this, too. It's not actually solving anything.

This doesn't logically track, though. Because if that's your legacy, then primarily I would have to be your top scum read, given that you've allowed room for Hayumi to be town and me scum, but no room for Hayumi to be scum and me town.
