One thing that everyone must have realized by now is that blonde gorosei looks a LOT younger than his peers to the point where he looks like someone that came along after the former member was defeated.

My pick is that every gorosei has a mythical zoan and former gorosei had kaido's fruits, back in godvalley, rocks was such a mogger group that even gorosei themselves showed up to get rid of them.

The one who held kaido s fruit was defeated and lost his fruit.

God knows how, big mom got a hold of the former gorosei seiryu fruit and gave it to kaido thus explaining why he has a "lifelong debt" with her and why the fruit is so important and strong.

The question is who killed former Kaido? Rocks? Big Mom? Whitebeard? Shiks? I don't believe it was Kaido himself. If Kaido owns Big Mom his life was in danger. He pretty much was a scary boy in that fight.

Wasn't Seiryu the symbol of the East? The rest of the Gorosei could then be the White Tiger of the West, the Black Tortoise of the North, the Vermillion Bird of the South and the Yellow Dragon of the Center.

They're from Japanese mythology (although borrowed from China as most things). They're simply known as the four guardian spirits (+ the yellow dragon at the center).

First time I heard about them was reading Samurai Deeper Kyo. The main character there used sword skills inspired by each of the beasts.

Former gorosei probably had the azure dragon(seiryu) prior to losing it somehow and big mom awarding kaido with that

Someone got killed or lost the fruit, that's Linlin was able to find the fruit at God Valley

Since fruits are made of desires and directly connected to the soul, its not farfetched to say that linlin managed to take the fruits soul and award it to kaido during the former gorosei death.

If that turns out to be True, its gonna be yet another nerfing she got in wano lol
