I just love how the anime is doing what I was expecting from the start to see Orihime do to counter Yhwach’s Almighty, providing Ichigo the opening he needed

So you can see where my disappointment was at when no such thing happened in the manga and how happy I am now to see Kubo finally realizing Orihime’s potential with using her power to reject events and phenomena against Yhwach’s Almighty

She’s got the feats to take dakka from either for days but her powers are limited to her perception of what phenomena she wants to reject

She’s got a fair chance of beating Naruto who himself will still be tricky with things like Shadow Clone feints but loses any round with Sasuke due to his ocular Genjutsu

I think the Almighty was turned off, which makes Yhwach look better imo. We can see in the last moments where Jugram loses it and Yhwach regains it.

Did Genjutsu work against souls? Don't think the reaper death seal shinigami was affected by Genjutsu at all. Orihime is one of the few that could probably get affected, but I'm part of the group that believes Genjutsu doesn't affect anyone without a chakra system since that's what it fundamentally affects.

If we're talking about the special ones (Tsukuyomi), then that's a different story

Yeah, last minute in the end, so he probably comes back because of that. But during the entire fight, he didn't have it unless I missed something. This was where he had it off to test Ichigo or something.
