In The Reverie which is take place in the Holy Land of Mariejois, there is one point agreement and that is an abolition of the seven warlords system.

In the story, the person that knew if Hancock was a former slave is just Elder Nyon, Sandersonia, Marigold, and Monkey D. Luffy.
If the marine able to capture Hancock, thats mean Marigold and Sandersonia will be in problem too. More than that, Amazon Lily was completely in danger.
On top of that, marine/world goverment might spread the news if Boa Hancock is a former slave to the tenryubito which is make her reputation became very bad.
And my biggest fear is Hancock might became the slave to the tenryubito again. And if thats happen, it will set the "End game" war for Luffy if he knows this.
Luffy need to pay his debt to Hancock, because Hancock give him so many help back then.
Thats why when Luffy know if Hancock was captured, he might try to rescue Hancock and thats how the "End Game" started.
