Of course,as we know,the thing about her healing when she was 10 was false,so she didnt heal,but,she had her desire to be older,realized. So the Devil Fruit probably just appeared between other classical fruits in her food,and she ate it without even noticing it was a Devil Fruit. I think in this way Oda just confirmed us that Vegapunk's theory about the Devil Fruits is true.
