A trick Oda used to bridge the huge gap in power scaling he created through one piece's 30 year run time. Like how he said about Crocodile that he had Luffy defeat him too

He is right, though. He was the weakest and newest of the bunch. Bounty is basically a CV. WB and BM competed with Shanks captain so no way he was going to surpass them in fame and notoriety. And the Kaido is kaido.

It will be interesting though to see how much bounty his key officers get. Especially the top 5 in comparison to the rest of the yonko organizations.

WB crew was bery weak. Strongest with who? Marco? Weaker than King or Katakuri? Jozu? Which is like a Yc2? Vista? Nah.

It's highly likely, it's just a matter of how big the increase will be. I think the monster trio will all get at least another one billion.

Yeah probably since this seems like a vs WG arc it would be weird for bounties not to be updated.

WG involvement is not official though.
The only reason their bounty may rise would be if Elbaf were officially declaring they're under Luffy's flag = Dory and Brogy's Giant Pirates becoming part of SH Fleet

This would make Kid having been destroyed by Luffy's underlings' underlings btw

since we didn't get an Egghead increase despite the events there being worthy of one, yes for sure, it'll likely be a very significant one as well

They should have gotten a Bounty increase, VP's shit was streamed and they blamed the SH's for it, makes no sense why they didn't get a bounty increase - unless they have, we just didn't get them yet, but i doubt it at this point. Brogy and Dorry got their increase, but not the ''main culprits''? Just dumb.

It's not based and events but fights (I know shocker)
And not just fights but some long ass fights that have definitive winners against reputable opponents (both not given in egghead)

it's completely unjustifiable in-story, I guess Oda just wanted them to get a single big upgrade Post Elbaf but imo it's a shame since some of the SH bounties aren't anywhere near where they should be

I'm pretty happy where all their bounties are.

yeah monster trio is who I was referring to, I'd have liked Luffy to get a raise in line with the 4b bounties of the Yonko, and Zoro should've been high 1b range close to 2b (1.7-1.9) at least with Sanji in the mid 1b range (1.3-1.6)

Yeah, I only see Zoro and Sanji in the 1.3-5 billion range. I think anything above that might be pushing it. They only beat guys in the 1.3 billion range.

Post Elbaf I think only M3, Franky and Usopp will get big bounty boosts. Everyone else will probably just get a basic 100million ish raise.
