Bowel movements

#25
Give us a small peak into your poopies.

Mind I remind you not to actually post pictures of it.

With that out of the way, describe your bowel movements to us. This exercise might prove to be a useful way for you to reflect upon your eating habits and overall health.
didn't expect a thread like this to be created lol

but it's been a reoccuring issue for me the past year or so

I pretty much get bowel movements as soon as I consume anything solid foods or anything in general that is not water (smoothies, soups). If I went 23 hrs 45 min of drinking water and then I mistakenly eat a single tangerine for example, 15 min later I literally have to take a shit.

And I literally have to defecate within 15 min of the above or my body gets 'pissed off' at me and tries to force it out of my ____hole. Think of the 'growling' sounds that Luffy gets in the anime but instead turn it into my body trying to punch my intestines from the inside out and making sounds non-stop until I defecate everything out of my system.

Has made eating a lot less fun (I basically resort to OMAD when I'm not around family or a water-only diet when I have interviews/exam/work) and my life basically depends on Imodium to allow to eat/exist 'normally'. As soon as I take it, none of the above problems even exist for a good 3-4 days. But as soon as that wears off, I need to Imodium immediately again or the issues come back like a storm.

NOTE: I don't get constipation or diarrhea tbh. My body's issue is that it is only "satisfied" when it is completely empty with no foods consumed whatsoever (water is fine though)

That happens to me sometimes as well. If I do intermittent fasting and have my first meal around noon, I have to go and take a shit around 20 min later.

during my university finals last yr, it basically went like the following since all my finals were late afternoon/night:

00:00 - 09:00 | take shit + shower before sleeping at 00:00
9:00 - 17:00 | wake up + study/practice questions. only consuming water (preferably cold since i get tired fast with hot/warm water), pedialyte, and sometimes gatorade
17:00 - 20:30 | take Final. again only consuming water
20:30 - 22:30 | eat either at dining hall or nearby restaurant. Basically ate as much as I desired and wanted (8-9 plates/meals); no set diet/restrictions since pretty much everything equally causes bowel movements for me that isn't water
22:30 - 00:00 | go back to dorm, repeat the same as [00:00 - 09:00]

This worked really well for me for 5 of the 6 finals I had to take in a 2 week span. for 1 of the finals (first one), made the fatal mistake of buying/eating a pack of BBQ chips 15 min before the exam (after fasting the entire time prior) and literally 15 min into the exam, started leaking diarrhea immediately and I couldn't physically hold it in (fart = death for anyone with bowel movements). luckily i had wore a lot of layers just in case (boxers, basketball shorts, sweatpants, construction pants) just in case so it did not permeate the room yet and the professor allowed me to leave immediately to the bathroom next to the testing room. Had to burn up 25 min taking care of 'business' and throwing away a few pants, but still ended getting an A on the Final. Had to really commit to not eating anything period before attending an important event/exam or I would have been screwed tbh.

I already deal with eczema 24/7 since I was born but now dealing with bowel movements when I consume anything that is not pure water has brought an entire new world of miserable for me tbh. And people that I've asked in a similar boat tell me that their 'happiness' is dictated by whether they have Imodium ready on hand and having a bathroom within a 50 ft vicinity and that there's no real solution to 'get rid of it' from doctors w/o medication.

---

after university though and moving back home, living in a tradition asian household where they expect you to eat 4-5 times a day has made it even more miserable to deal with since most of my awake time becomes going in/out of the bathroom (if I do not take Imodium) instead of being able to study/work. I don't wish for anyone else to have to deal with bowel movements tbh.

I hope you don't have to deal with such a mess again.

i still do when i forget to refill on Imodium at my pharmacy. tried the entire last month w/o Imodium hoping to build a pain tolerance but it was the worst time of my life and felt like getting punched by G5 Luffy nonstop as soon as I swallow/consume any food. My Doctor basically told me once you get bowel movements even once, you will have to find a way to navigate/deal with it the rest of your life essentially since it can never truly go away w/o undergoing extreme surgery. most people can deal with it thru a good/specific diet but since everything triggers bowel movement for me, Imodium is my only immediate solution (at the very least I know I don't have IBS since I can eat dairy np)

I know I keep talking about Imodium but its quite literally the only thing that has provided immediate support/relief for me physically. nothing else has come even close
