Considering there are posters with ties to certain people inside odas camp, it wouldn't be a stretch to wonder if oda himself has an international ground team to look up fan theories and reactions.
Obviously they don't check everything that's said nor do they check all forums, but certain theories make it to the big time and even trend.
I think thats why oda punished zoro in wano. Oda got news of fans speculating that not only would zoro kill kaido, but that he was as strong as luffy (some even said stronger)
Thats why he forced zoro to admit that his attacks couldn't bring kaido to his knees, while base luffy proceeded to effortlessly achieve that feat. Then he made zoro struggle with a mere commander. Then he cut zoros wano story threads out. And his final punishment was to make luffy the new ryuma.
Im honestly just so scared for zoro. Oda gave us a warning when luffy grabbed Nidai Kitetsu. He was telling us theorists to watch what we say or else he will give us a new WSS. That if we keep angering him, we may look up and see luffys sandal go across mihawks face.
Oda, if you're reading this, i swear we were joking. We do believe zoro is strong but i promise we know that he will always live in luffys shadow, forever seeing the back of his head as he charges into territory zoro could only dream of.
