Buggy’s gag is that he’s always failing upwards.
Given how he can’t be pirate king, as that is Luffy’s dream, imo the next rank he will take is Holy Knight.
The Holy Knights are one of the most high ranking individuals in OP, with only the Gorosei and Imu ranking above them. Imo such a rank would be perfect for Buggy.
it will probably be revealed that like Shanks, Buggy is also a CD. Imo from House Nerona. This will lead to him being offered a position amongst the Holy Knights.
Ultimately, I see Buggy backstabbing the CDs and stealing all their wealth once Luffy raids Mariejois. This will ultimately lead to Buggy being the richest pirate by EOS.
