Buggy more and more is fully taken the Mr. Satan role in One Piece. By the end of the series Buggy will be the one who gets the treasure and be seen as the Pirate King like how Mr. Satan is the one who "Saved the World".

Buggy achieve his goal as a Yonko. Pirate King is next.

Then near the end of the series, he would become God/Messenger of God/Lord/King/King of the World.

I believe there’s a strong chance he could be, the story been nailing in our head’s constantly Luffy will be pk pk pk. But then the Joyboy development comes into the picture and now it feels like Luffy’s purpose is much bigger than being pk. The guy might end up king of the world atp and it’s certainly a dream that would have his crew shocked 😂. Buggy’s path to pirate king is the ultimate underdog story, no one believes in him but he keeps falling into great status and influence, imagine if all the Warlords end up on his team he’d probably have the most conquerors as subordinates 😭 (some just speculation on my end).
