Chopper got such a high bounty because he beats up civilians who badmouth Zoro.
Momo is a huge fan of Zoro and wishes to become a strong swordsman like him.
Zoro is a battle maniac who wants to be the strongest man in the world (he's top 10 now, #1 is Dracule Mihawk with a 6.59 billion bounty - killed 2 admirals). Due to lots of battles Zoro has two doctors on his crew for top notch care.
Origin story:
Zoro was already a world famous bounty hunter with a bounty of 420 million when he came across Trafalgar in Dressrosa. They got to talking and Law revealed that he is chained to the Doffy family and greatly wishes to leave - also mentions Doffy's grip on Dressrosa. Zoro offered to free him and immediately attacked the Doffy family (surprised Law). Zoro killed all the Doffy army soldiers and officers, he was smiling like a Demon when Doffy arrived (pissed as fuck). They fought and Zoro lost this encounter due to fatigue (he got a massive X on his chest from Doffy's awakening strings). Doffy was devastated that his entire army was killed off so quickly - he activated Bird Cage to take control and ordered Law to dispose of Zoro. Law compiled, but brought Zoro to his hidden operating room deep below Dressrosa near the port. Here Zoro healed after surgery for a week while Law helped Doffy terrorize Dressrosa. Law returned to find Zoro training and yelled at him. Zoro says he won't lose ever again and told Law he wants to take on Doffy again. Law believes Zoro can defeat Doffy 1 on 1 if he fully recovers so for the next month Zoro trained and recovered while Law continued to help Doffy - eventually Doffy was happily in control of Dressrosa again by being a tyrant and the Marines surrounded the island on the day Zoro decided to hunt Doffy. Zoro shows up in Doffy's throne room to an enraged Doffy who immediately attacks Law for not disposing Zoro as ordered and Law countered with Gamma Knife (Doffy is surprised Law has gotten so strong), but Doffy reveals his ability to give first aid to himself and quickly recovers. He beats Law and then goes to stomp his head when Zoro clashes with Doffy's foot using his Wado sword (Conqueror's haki blast). Law and Doffy are both surprised, and Law says: "You're a conqueror, so you really can defeat Doffy!" Zoro smiles and says, "Join me Trafalgar Law, I need a doctor of your skills if I want to accomplish my dream of being the absolute strongest man in the world!" Law is impressed and says that he'll join on one condition for Zoro, kill Doffy and free this kingdom. Zoro accepts and begins battle with Doffy. Many clashes ensue. Zoro activates Ashura and uses conqueror's haki infused dead man's game killing Doffy while also shattering the bird cage. Law and the citizens of Dressrosa are absolutely shocked at how strong Zoro is and celebrate. The Navy begins moving in upon bird cage disappearing, Doffy is laying on the ground chopped into many different pieces - Navy finds him dead and declares Zoro an enemy of the world government for killing Doffy (a warlord and Celestial Dragon). Zoro laughs and says: "send your strongest, I'll defeat them all!" The Navy soldiers are scared and Law uses room to send himself and Zoro to the port underneath Dressrosa. There they talk and officially form the the Demon Hunters Crew - they will hunt strong opponents the world over and Law smiles for the first time since he hung out with Corazon - "alright Captain Zoro pick a ship and let's leave Dressrosa!" They choose a small ship, sneak through the Navy blockade using Law's abilities, and set off in search of strong opponents. The newspaper brands Zoro the Demon Emperor and his partner Law the Demon Surgeon. Bounties of 560 million and 150 million, respectively are issued.
Timeline from here: Punk Hazard where they save Momo and kill Ceaser, Monet, Vergo + destroy the lab. Fishmen Island where Hachi joins as the chef and they kill Hody + the evil fishmen. Sabaody where they run across admiral Kuzan and Zoro fights his first admiral opponent, tough fight where no one wins but Kuzan has captured Robin and was taking her to Mary Geoise - Kuzan pretends to pass out during battle and Robin takes the cue to go with Zoro and his crew (Kuzan smiles as he watched them leave and reports being defeated to HQ - Zoro's bounty goes up to 1.2 billion). Next they come across Thriller Bark where they meet Perona who hates Moria (they save her by killing Moria and his Zombies, Perona uses her ghosts to skillfully maneuver their ship as the helmsman + navigator; Zoro gains Shisui replacing one of his no name swords). Onwards to the next big incident in Water 7 and Enies Lobby. They meet Franky and befriend him, asking him to build them a more robust ship for their turbulent journey ahead (they plan to sail all the way to East Blue then return to the New World). Here they also run into Johnny and Yosaku - old bounty hunter friends of Zoro who join up immediately due to their respect for Zoro. Next day they find out Rob Lucci and CP-0 captured Franky and plan to execute him for not giving them the ancient weapon blueprints. Zoro has the crew and Franky's family break into Enies Lobby to save Franky. The crew becomes very famous due to murdering all of CP-0 and destroying Enies Lobby. Franky builds the Demon-Go ship and they continue their journey (Zoro's bounty blows up to 2.2 billion + other crew bounties - Law, Johnny, and Yosaku distinguish themselves as commanders). They sail through and come across Drum Island where they meet Chopper, this Chopper is a huge fan of Zoro and wants to join his crew. Zoro accepts and they go further - all the way to East Blue where Zoro learns his full lineage from his master in Shimotsuki village, at which point Zoro decides it's time to go back to the New World and challenge Kaido (who's been sending crew members after Zoro for killing Doffy and destroying the smile fruit operation - also dominates Zoro's ancestral home of Wano). In Wano it becomes a constant battle journey where Zoro obtains Enma and Momo gets Ame no Habakiri - the crew also learns of how bad the situation, what happened to Oden, and how Momo is actually from 20 years in the past. They meet Onimaru who decides to serve Zoro upon learning his lineage - he begs Zoro to avenge his uncle Ushimaru Shimotsuki. Zoro and crew attack and kill Kaido + his giant army on Onigashima. Momo tells Hiyori and his grandfather to lead the country and promises he and Zoro will both return. Hiyori reveals she and Zoro are engaged and she looks forward to them returning (Zoro will be Shogun once he achieves his goal and will continue to train Momo until he is ready to take over - but that's the far future). Then the crew gets their above mentioned bounties and they set their sights on other strong opponents in the world: the other Yonkou, Admirals, and the Gorosei. The journey goes on 😁.
