Do you think brook can cut steel?

Personally I don’t think he can at the moment but he potentially can under weird circumstances

We know he doesn’t have haki something that might be potentially needed to cut steel. He also wasn’t asked by zoro if he could but he instead just asked kinemon instead

At the same time he was able to cut the green dragon said to be even though we than the red one. The red one being acknowledged as being tough



While obviously not canon I think it’s a possibility that it’s a possibility that brook can potentially just cut anything as long as it has a soul. Whether it’s jozu, daz, king, queen, big mom, or kaido due to them having souls. Same way he was the first person ever to cut Prometheus through its soul. At the same time he probably can’t cut random steel or seastone due to not having haki

Tbh idk if it was ever specifically stated how tough they are but we know it’s tougher than the red one

Brooks powers are capable of countering and hurting big mom homies due to his soul abilities

At this point, Brooks cannot cut steel. He must prove he can cut steel first.

Brooks beating a dragon doesn't prove he can cut steel. It doesn't even prove Brooks can cut the dragon, only damag the dragon. We can't see from the scene if he actually cut the dragon.

We know Brooks has ice powers that causes freezing damage. We know Brooks attacked the dragon together with Kinemon, who can cut steel and uses fire attacks that cause burning damage. We know it's easier to break steel than to cut through steel. Zoro couldn't cut Mr. 1 at first even though he broke Hatchan steel swords back during Arlong arc.

Based on those facts, it's reasonable to believe Brooks didn't cut the dragon. He only damaged the dragon with his ice powers and majority of the damage came from Kinemon's attack.
