1- If WB can work under Xebec, then he can accept a crew without being a leader...

2- WB dream was all about having a family in his crew... Luffy and SH crew is already like Family... the dynamic in Luffy’s crew can grant WB dream and wish...

3- Luffy is a guy who in his rookie days earned the respect of Old WB who have seen it all...And that same WB eventually asked his crew to follow Luffy and support him talking about the letter D. In Luffy’s name hoping that Luffy can show him bright future...
If that was only rookie Luffy... then Prime Luffy will be legit enough to have WB support completely...

Again, you only look at people will refuse to serve him just for strength agenda... when basically we have more than enough evidence that they would serve him IF given the chance and Luffy was at his prime level to be actually worthy of such leadership

Whitebeard is his own man, him telling his crew to follow Luffy to save his own crew mate Ace doesn’t mean shit.

I’m not a Luffy fan by the way... I just hate when people act in denial that Oda isn’t structuring everything in the series for this chosen one messiah... it’s clear as day... and given the chance and plot... as someone stated, we shouldn’t be surprised if Oda made Luffy command every god damn CoC walking on earth Lol

Plot makes Oda do whatever he wants.. and plot is on Luffy’s side 99% of the time.. and the 1% time it goes wrong, it is only used for the benefit of Luffy later on like SHs losing in Saboady to have 2 years timeskip and get stronger hhhh
