It’s literally the same argument as yours

WB serving under for Xebec doesn’t suddenly equate to him being willing to serve under Luffy wtf
It’s not the same... because WB dream is not the same as Luffy’s dream...

Luffy’s dream is to become pirate king... that can ONLY happen if he stayed as captain

WB dream is to have a family... he can have that in a crew under Luffy...

WB’s dream does not prevent him from serving under someone else... while Luffy’s dream prevent him from serving under someone else... this is why I never included Roger in the 10 names... cause he never showed signs of being openminded about serving another pirate captain...

WB on the other hand DID serve someone else... PLUS his dream is not conflicted with serving another captain...

Luffy wanted to serve under Shanks though so your point is invalidated

Yeah that was when his goal to only become a normal pirate... THEN he aimed higher and said “I will stop asking you to be in your crew, I will make my own crew, surpass you, and find the greatest treasure One Piece” and that’s where Luffy’s dream was established in the story... and that’s when Luffy’s role as captain cannot be changed

With WB, he lived his life only dreaming of family, never desired any other treasure, not interested in one piece, not interested in power, not interested innany materialistic stuff... it’s foolish to compare the two... I’m astonished you still want to argue when it’s clear as crystal how different they are

Whitebeard could only achieve his dream of having a family when he was captain. There’s a reason he couldn’t do it as subordinate. He likes being the father figure leading his children. That won’t work as a subordinate.

Your entire argument is “if Rox did it, why can’t Luffy”, which doesn’t hold up. There’s nothing in the manga that indicates that WB would ever follow Luffy

Imagine a prime WB asking all his subordinates to call him father and now he has to call Luffy father.
:whitepress:
Yep he def won't have a problem with this

They want Luffy to be some sort of Pirate Jesus so bad, acting like WB telling his crew to help Luffy achieve their COMMON goal of saving Ace means he would be willing to become a subordinate :seriously:
Pirate Jesus except Zoro literally saved him at least 3-4 times alone in Wano.
Maybe that's why pirate jesus needs 10 CoC users like Zoro to save him later on.
:amazing:

What do you mean by command? If direct command imo no, Luffy is not a dictator and WB is not Luffy's underling etc.

But attracting allies is what Luffy does. And Luffy can command them as the unofficial leader of the alliance even if he doesn't want to.

Especially after Luffy defeat Kaidou, he will have that crazy powerlevel that allows him to be the alliance leader and even someone like Shanks will be glad that Luffy is the leader since perfectly mastered IntDestrCoA - AdvCoCCoat - VOAT - will of D etc, narratively, will allow Luffy to stand above any of CoC users in powerlevel. Whether they will all work under Luffy is another thing altogether though, Oda wouldnt make that cheesy stuff. Why settle for making all CoC users his underling when his key narrativr point in becoming PK is to beat / surpass all CoC users in powerlevel?
