Controversial Can Mihawk knock out more people than Shanks with CoC??

#3
Mihawk has also never shown a sky-split before. Maybe when he does it, it splits space itself and that's why he doesn't do it often because it actually warps the space/time around earth or summin

I'm pretty sure he was holding back at Marineford when he tested Whitebeard's might. If he actually unleashed his full strength, he would've killed all the Whitebeard pirates and all the marines too, and since he was a warlord he couldn't do that. It's too many innocent lives and Mihawk cares about people.

He has NEVER shown how many people he can knock out with a slap of his CoC.

Perhaps it's infinity?

We know he's stronger than Shanks and this is probably true with AdCoC and being the strongest means he can send a flying sword technique that can kill infinity people right? Because none of them can block it
He's definitely better than Shanks in terms of application of haki in swordsmanship.

That's why the concept of "haki above all" is not just about the literal strength of your haki, but how you utilise it.

Besides even Joyboy level haki caps out at KO'ing vice admirals. Using CoC in this manner is more about dealing with fodder.

Even if Shanks base CoC is stronger than Mihawk's, Shanks probably wastes a decent amount in it's practical application, especially when he's mad.

Think about it, he KO'ed his crew when he was angry, not having complete control means he probably can't channel it all in his swordsmanship either way.

It might be why he opts to use it the way he does, instead of channelling it directly into his blade. We saw Roger actually use armament on his sword where Shanks hasn't.

So if Mihawk has complete control where Shanks does not, it makes sense why Mihawk's techniques achieve a greater affect, even with the possibility of his haki not being as strong.

How can you not root for the one who has pursued a path of mastery, who became an obstacle the genius prodigy Child of Fate with Roid rage haki could not soundly overcome?

Nope, because Shanks's Haki > Mihawk's Haki.

They specifically use the word ''sword skill'' otherwise they would say Mihawk has better Haki than Shanks:

Sword skill is highlighted for Mihawk, not Haki.

Kaido doesn't say Roger had better sword skill, he says he had better Haki.
