Meanwhile in movies that have less time with Usopp than Oda does, Usopp has had more memorable iconic moments like ripping apart Bullets armor in Stampede or taking out that lady in film gold with the luck devil fruit and now film red where the producers unlike Oda remembered Usopp has haki and utilized that in the best way possible.

Please someone who doesn't believe Oda has any malice or hate towards Usopp explain to me how it's possible for Oda to be repeatedly outdone with his own character by people who have less time and experience with him

I think he is overdoing it with he gag stuff.Ussop should have beaten Page one and Nami should have beaten Ulti without Zeus.Ussop could have use some plant that produces gas or something to take him out,look what Caeasar did to Kat.It would have been the perfect place to give him coa pu,since the samurai know how to train people in it.Nami was hurting Ultie,she just need to find a way to produce some big lighting bolt by herself.Oda fucked up so many characters in Wano.Some many fakes deaths,plot points that were dropped and so on.Wano was the worst arc in OP history.

I still think it’s WILD to show Usopp unlocking CoO and saving Luffy and Law from being erased by Sugar…and then not give him ANYTHING of note since then, making it his biggest accomplishment from the timeskip to right now by virtue of being his ONLY accomplishment. I know he’s meant to always be the weakest member of his crew, but I didn’t realize that also made him the weakest member of ANY crew in the series…

Bepo Penguine and Shachi having better feats than him is Hilarious considering how many of us thought he was gonna be a hero this arc (Elbaf)
