Questions & Mysteries Can Strong Haki Negates Burgess Strength?

#4
Well, that's very convenient for him, isn't?

If that is the case, then it's terrible
In the chapter with Hancock it was implied that no straight man would resist her powers.
So either the Admirals and Yonko are gay, or Haki won't work. And I don't think they are gay.

BigMom could nulify Law's shambles in the battle, but not Kidd's turning her into a living magnet.

So yes, wherever author will feel like, he would use this lame excuse, so the development and resolution of X scenario/event won't get overcomplicated.

Since it's confirmed that haki can negate DF powers

Let's suppose Jesus Burgess is strangling someone using his DF power, can this guy negates the pressure caused by the strength of the DF with strong Haki?

What are the limits of haki countering DF?
Yes
Luffy was leagues below kaido with g2 in physical strenght
Haki helped him equally clash

That was haki vs haki not haki vs DF

Burgess power does not affect people like Doctor Q, he uses his strength to affect the environment, to stop that, you’d need to create a haki barrier like the Admirals did vs Whitebeard, considering that all three admirals were at least able to clash with Whitebeard, it’s impossible for him to be three times as stronger than them, so you require a massive amount of haki, probably impossible for a single person.
It’s much easier to have him launch mountains, and his opponent cut them, for a fight coreography.
Think about it this way, if haki was able to stop everything, Blackbeard, an important main villain, wouldn’t have made such a big fuss about the yami fruit, Law could stop that Doc Q technique, but he would have a hard time against his more serious techniques.

I think it only applies when the DF is directly affecting you. Burgess' fruit only affects himself.

But it's tricky because we see that haki is the way to deal with logia users when they try to alter their own bodies. So logically, you should also be able to affect paramecia/zoan users similarly.

Don't think that's how it works imo. Jozu's fruit is the self-type aka only affecting himself similar to Jozu's diamond fruit for example. If Kaido or Big Mom were to strangle Jozu using haki, it won't turn Jozu back into a normal human.

This.

Not every ability can be nullified with haki, i don't think Luffy will suddenly lose his rubber body if someone with strong haki hits him. Some hax fruits can somewhat be weakened by haki, Law can't teleport Big Mom or Kaido via his room, but he can hit them with gamma knife or awakening attacks, the haki aura can probably negate some weaker devil fruit attacks.

It should like Luffy's rubber getting hurt by haki punches.

BUT it's a different thing if Burgess clads himself with haki, then it will be who has the stronger haki.

Doffy kicking Luffy's G4 in the ribs and he was sursprised he was still rubber. G4 Luffy COA > Doffy COA, so Doffy's COA couldn't negate Luffy's rubber DF.

No.it won't because its affecting Burgess body's and not his enemies.Burgess must have solid COA too,so it won't be easy to negate it.

Luffy is harmonizing Rubber with Haki. It's not about strength of Haki. Luffy is giving new properties to rubber using Haki.

Same shit happened to Cracker and Tankman

and he could cut through Boundman Haki

Perhaps. Though, my point can't be proven wrong with the pictures above, the piercing attack doesn't seem to have been coated with koka (it's not blackened). On the other pic, the sword cut was coated with koka.

I still think it's about haki strength.
