Yes,I know that,hence I talked about imgur. You could use the button next to the emoticons one and upload a picture .. now it says

something went wrong. Please try again or contact an administrator

It seems like imgur joined Reddit as website that can't host links.


Discord can host links but the uploaded images don't last long here

I‘m using Reddit links just fine though?
Don’t use the app, I navigate reddit on the web then copy the picture’s link there.

Such as? Because only reddit works right now for the image button. Imgur works for if I embed the link but not the usual way.

Pinterest and that flickr thing don't work.

Well that does indeed work if I paste it directly on the text. Still baffled why the image button doesn't work .

I'm on my phone and what I do is I hold down on the image, open it in another tab, then put that into the image button, it's rough

Yes there is an issue

Try imgbb - it works and that too faster than Imgur

Img can also allow you post there and basically you copy paste the link and its good to go

Imgbb, that's the quickest way I had found when I joined and been using that ever since, doesnr take that long since I'm on a phone, less than 1min to upload, copy and paste the link here and as you can see above, only the image appears.

Images that have proper extensions will work. Sometimes, when copying an image link, you don't get a link that has extensions like jpeg png jpg etc. Those won't work. So just get images with the extensions

How are you uploading the images from Imgur here on this forum?

For the record, the images I’ve uploaded to Imgur and shared here are still working, but I do have a registered Imgur account where my images are categorized and stored in specific sections. You might not need to do this personally, however.

The key is to make sure you’re using the direct link to the image itself, not the Imgur page link.

After uploading the image to Imgur, right-click on the image (or choose ‘Open Image in New Tab’ depending on your browser), and copy the URL that ends in .jpg, .png, etc.

That’s the link you need to paste into the ‘Insert Image’ function here on the forum.

Edit: In the worst-case scenario where it becomes impossible to upload images using Imgur, you might need to switch to ImgBB.

I knew how to upload here from imgur. The thing is they apparently fucked up the app(since I haven't had the chance to check a pc for over a month ) and doesn't give you the [.xxx ] link but the one without it,which can't be uploaded here like a simple image.
