Is there a fight between hardcore and casual fans in the schizo dimension I'm not aware of
I haven't seen that myself.

But I have seen Oda's fans fighting OP readers. For them reading the manga and even enjoying it mostly is not enough, you also have to suck Oda's dick and fight whoever says they are not interested in tasting Oda's cock.

That's odd because I never see anybody really say anything positive about the story here tbh and if they did the hardcore fans here would surely attack them

being a casual is the best way to read onepiece considering how many flaws it has.
The interesting part about that is casuals don't get hypercritical of Oda, the story, characters, or other readers, so I'm not sure why the hardcore fans act like they are insufferable when by their nature they wouldn't know these "flaws" the hypercritical guys perceive. Just because they're not hypercritical doesn't mean they're "glazing Oda". That's absurd.

No, you can plainly see the bias and negative attitudes just here in this post.

The chapter threads vary in reception, but most of the comments are people arguing obsessively.
The people arguing obsessively are mostly powerscalers with agendas.

They're not reading OP, they read Agenda Piece.

But it was always a powerscaling forum to start with so I don't mind that. I even find it funny tbh.

I think we're going to disagree on that. While I understand some people are more sensitive than others, I also think people should be allowed to express their opinions and criticism.

I have read plenty of critics that I found stupid but different opinions and views exist, that's a good thing.

I'm sure some people have thought that some of my threads and posts were stupid. And that's also fine.

Nice to see a mature user once in a while :BigW:

The ones following since it a pretty Long time(they know about the flaws and possible Future dissapointments but want to Continue)
I don't think casual fans appreciate hardcore fans of One Piece much because hardcore fans get absolutely nuts about the story. They tend to be obsessive and hypercritical. It makes the fandom feel uncomfortable to be part of. What kind of fans do you think are here more?
So basically fans vs fanboys... Yea, fuck tthe fanboys who think everything Oda comes up with is genius and great (aka gear 5 and etc).
Hi! Hardcore fan here:

:GoodLuck:

Been reading OP for 24 years. I don't feel the need to be hypercritical and yet I'm still obsessed with it and trust me, very few people in the fanbase can tell me "I get OP more than you do". So do not confuse hypercriticality with knowledge or comprehension. OP has its flaws, but not to point of being legitimately hypercritical about it. It's a nuanced story that needs a nuanced comprehension.

In the case of OP, hypercriticality comes from a bad reading environment, illegitimate exceptions, toxic parasocial relationship with characters and bad narrative awareness.
