In this chapter I will create ''Spoilers'' based on Hopium and Predictions:

Chapter 1040: Enduring Death
- The hooded creature hits zoro with the scythe but it doesn't kill him
- Zoro suddenly feels all the pain from the medicine which is wearing off
- The hooded creature asks zoro why he still hasn't finished his mission.
- Zoro answers ''You mean slicing his head off? Lets make a deal. Take away my pain and I will give you one of my beloved swords''
- The hooded creature fasts forward zoro's damage and zoro is screaming in pain while the process.
- We can see Luffy in his Gear 4 with black lightning surrounding him. It seems like a new form of gear 4.
- Kaido uses awakening and his transformation looks much more meanacing, like some sort of demon. The from is called Lord of Dragons
- Luffy hits Kaido with a new attack called ''Ultra Tiger Gattling'' and kaido responds to him with ''Dragon Realm Bagua''
- Both lay on the ground after clashing with each other not moving any bodyparts.
- Sanji wakes up but he can't move. His germa powers vanished and he feels every pain that he took against queen
- ''Where is that moss head? That idiot is going to die!'' Sanji is trying to call zoro with his Den Den Mushi but there is no response.
- At the end of the chapter we can see a silhouette standing in the background with 2 swords.

- Onigashima crumbles and shakes. The flame clouds are too weak to hold it anymore.
- Luffy uses an attack called ''azure blue flame fist''. The punch is so strong it creates a shockwave mixed with black lightning.
- Kaido is coughing blood and flies into some rocks. Everywhere is dust and for a second luffy thinks he won.
- Out of nowhere kaido yells ''Hyper Boro Breath'' and aims at luffy with it directly.
- The beam gets cut by zoro in half, but the surrounding is exploding.
- Zoro and Luffy are standing next to each other and having a conversation
- ''Can you move zoro?'' ''Barely.., do you mind if I participate on this fight?'' Luffy grins and yells at kaido
- ''Without my best friend I am nothing! We will take you down for good! For Wano, to revenge Momonosukes Father and to open the Gates!''
- In an amazing double spread we can see how luffy and zoro are rushing with black lighting towards kaido.
- The chapter ends with kaido smiling and yelling ''Let's see who leads the era!''
