For whatever reason spoilers are taking longer this week than it was the last ones so I want to take this time to make it "official" my prediction about chapter 1083 or beyond before any spoiler comes out and people may think I'm spoiling them.
I'm talking more specifically about Egghead Island incident which was told to be an event that will shock the World.
But this way of story telling was already used by Oda before:
Here Oda says that one day Momonosuke will be known as Wano's greatest leader but will be an event that will happen in the future although he continues the story right here.
Teach vs Ace final clash. Until now we don't know what exactly happened but we know that Teach became Shichibukai and Ace was arrested.
That makes me think that Oda will also offscreen(at least for now) Egghead Island incident and will have a small timeskip where things will be a mess since Oda like to mess up a lot his manga. He thinks it makes it interesting that way.
And I would also bet on Strawhats once more being divided. You see this kind of incident in somewhat similar to Sabaody where they faced a force so much greater than them.
But how would Strawhats escape AGAIN from this similar impossible situation? There is no Rayleigh here to defend them like it was at Sabaody... But Oda already played his joker card
Kuma is the one no one knows where he is going and he has the ability to get at Egghead Island in an instant and then save everybody again(including his daughter).
Again I'm still betting on offscreen incident so we probably wouldn't know what really happened for a while but Oda would let us imagine showing Strawhats separated once more and Kuma also missed.
One more thing, Oda loves to have ambiguous conclusions. Katakuri fight. Kaido and Big Mom ending. This way he could say that Navy power was too much for Strawhats but at the same time they managed somehow to escape. It would look good and bad for both sides without necessarily downplaying or hyping any of them.
Maybe this could be a lesson for Luffy that chapters ago thought he could face WG all by himself.
And also could change his mind about Pluton realizing he would need all the power he can have to battle WG
So those are my thoughts about what can happen at next chappter more focused on how Oda will handle Egghead event for now and what we may find about it later on.
