Speculations Chapters 990-1000 could rival end of Marineford?

Mr Morj, a one piece YouTuber has high expectations for the last volume leading to chapter 1000. He says with all that's set up, these 11 chapters could be Better than end if Marineford (From the point Ace is Freed to Shanks ending the war)


What do you guys think can happen in these chapters to rival that?

Here are the few things suggested:
1. ALL the scabbards get killed.
2. Luffy loses, AGAIN.
3. The alliance us completely beaten.
4. Kaido actually takes Damage from someone.
5. Big mom actually takes damage
6. Kaido or Big mom die
7. The Mink transformation of the full moon.
8. Pluton or Uranus is revealed or information is given.
9. Caribou appears out of no where and tells the enemy Poseidon is Shirahoshi.
10. The Marines invade.
11. Another Yonko's arrives.
12. Law dies
13. Yamato offers Kaido or Big mom the oden journal.
14. Yamato destroys the oden journal and tells everyone she read it and knows what One piece is
15. gear 5 monkey god gold Haki
16. Big mom kills Yamato

Btw there's no number limit to the number of things that can happen. If you can think of 20 things then it's fine.

Chapter 900 was a total delusion (fake tension all over the place) yet I want to be at least a bit hyped for chapter 1000. Most likely, for me, it will be something like the 4 yonkos coming to Wano along the marines or some revelation like for Ace (maybe some shocking info on BB or Shanks or maybe even the will of D, Vegapunk, who knows), Kaido dies and BB takes his fruit. Anyway it has to be something really really relevant, that or nothing. So even things like Law dying would not be up to the task (at the very least I require a blood sacrifice SH to make it worth of the 1000th chapted).

Chapter 945 "Zoro's death".....was also fake trash.


For all we know chapter 1000 will be a dumb chapter, filled with unnesscary exposition, compiled of all the most irrelevant characters within the arc, with like a 1 panel fight between fodder samurai and fodder gifters....


Stop getting your hopes up so high. Its not worth it.

After the most recent chapter, it’s clear that shit’s ramping up to the point that something seismic could happen by or in chapter 1000. Because of the nature of Kaido’s plan - that this is the final night of freedom for the regular citizens of Wano - I kinda think that Oda plans for everything to be taken care of in this nascent raid despite all the theorizing that the alliance will lose at least once.

If the Scabbards and everyone else fail here, Wano will fall into Kaido’s control the following morning and the whole island will become an uninhabitable paradise for pirates and other criminals. Assuming the alliance is defeated now, how will they reasonably go for round 2? The Yonko will lock them up, bloody and beaten (if alive), for as long as he pleases. Seems like a much harder narrative obstacle to clear for Luffy and friends to escape prison, heal their lingering wounds, and be strong enough to challenge him again for the win.

Will the raid be over by chapter 1000? Definitely fuckin’ not, but perhaps that could be when we see some inkling of how it will end in the alliance’s favor. Could that be when the Marines make their entrance? The Revolutionaries? The missing Supernovae? All of these would be huge developments that could negate the need for a second tilt between both sides.

What we had in mf :
1. Full force of WB crew
2. Full force of marine hq
3. All royal sichibukai
4. Wb and ace's death
5. BB core crew
6. Shanks crew ending the war

What we have now
1. Kaido's full force << WB's
2. BMP 40% force (maybe even 30%)<<<<< Marine hq
3. 8 SN << original sichibukai
4. Red scabbard (izo included) + minks and samurai fodder <<<<<< Wb's allies and fodder
5. Marco

I think it's really hard at this point to surpass MF. Even the number of person who were involved were a lot more at mf (only marine had 100k soldier if i dont make mistake) That's only my opinion tho.

Oh and i forget to mention that it was actually in mf that we saw almost everyone power for the first time (Akainu, Marco, WB, Jozu, Sengoku) and i can't deny the thrill when i read mf for the first time was way above current arc. Oh and there was pacifistas and ivankov too.

But Luffy's ineptitude took away something from the enjoyment (for me). This time, we get to see Luffy take down a Yonkou (if not two). That should give you a new sense of thrill.

Plus Battle hasn't started yet. There is room for all sorts of top tiers to enter.
