Let's talk about the most famous fishmen in One Piece, the only really powerful fishman pirate captain since the death of his captain Fisher Tiger, the captain of the Sun Pirates, most loyal and honorable of the original Warlords and newest addition to the Straw Hats, the Knight of the Sea Jinbei.


Do you like or dislike Jinbei as a character ? What do you think about his past, his present story and his role in the manga ? About his water-themed powers ? What is his most interesting relation with another character ? Do you prefer him as an ally of the Straw Hats or as a member of the crew ? Your favorite moments with him ?

kinda boring, no real dream of his own, no gag, joined way too late considering helmsman importance on a ship.

Jimbe outside of the straw hat : a good character, like his story and his life (the real deal was Fisher Tiger but Jimbe was okay)

Jimbe inside the SH : a walking nightmare. Don't like him in the crew at all, for me he didn't match at all with the SH dynamics, humor, gags etc, it seems forced on him. And don't like the wise man place he took.

Jinbei really should have stayed a friend and ally but not a member of the Straw Hats imo, he's far more interesting that way and he doesn't fit in the crew's antics and fixation on dreams.

I am not going to downplay the doctor and the shipwright, but someone like Jinbei brings more assurance and credibility to the crew in a world where most people live by the "Might Makes Right" doctrine.

A blessed fish. Always remember Jinbei is the fish who saved the Pirate God Buggy-sama

The blessing of Buggy-sama shouldn't be underestimated, look what happen to the other guy who saved the Pirate God from drownig:
- Become Mihawk's rival
- Become a Great Pirate
- Become an Emperor of the Sea
- Become the Gorosei's buddy

Let's not forget - Ace was saved thanks to Bggy-sama greatness! Remember Mr. 3 (Buggy-sama underling!)
WB did a smart choice when he pay respect to Buggy-sama! Buggy-sama even made sure WB last words will reach the world! Truely a generous God!

Jinbei a blessed fish and his haters are all heretics! Yes, this include Judge's son - why do you think he fall to captivity after he disrespet the great Jinbei? Truely a punishment from heaven! Black-tooth-sama is acting in service of God!

Jinbei blessing will provid cool boons for him, it's already has some visible effects - everyone love him (except Judge's son but he doesn't count anyway) and Robin want to ride his 2 shark dicks! Soon there be more!
