Basically what are the characters that have impacted the overall one piece world/story the most maybe even still doing so?

Restrictions:

1. Flashback exclusive characters not included
   • So no roger, oden, tom, etc.
2. If the important actions theyve done happened before the story began (luffy going out to sea) it doesn't count. Only the actions they've done in the present story
   • Like akainu destroying ohara dont count but him killing ace does etc.
3. The characters actions dont necessarily need to be seen on panel
   • Just because we didn't see the rocky port incident or urouge attacking the big mom pirates doesn't mean it didn't happen

If we're talking about characters who has actively cause the plot to move, as opposed to reacting to plot, then pre-skip it's Ace and Blackbeard. Ace's hunt for BB and BB's quest to be Warlord- alongside everything Luffy did- basically resulted in everything that happened pre-skip. Well, in the Grand Line, anyway.

Post skip it's Kine'mon and Law. Mostly Kine'mon. You can see how Law's a late addition to the story cause the rough outline of the Wano story would stay the same without him.

not going on the water 7 train the trip to eneis lobby would be boring

in eneis lobby if he didn’t open the gate of justice getting out of eneis lobby would be very difficult

if not for taking kiemons head with him in punk hazard dressrosa,zou,wano wouldn’t be the same and wci wouldn’t exist

if he didn’t turn viola into an ally law would have given ceaser to doffy and lost his card
