Literally yes. They went to Punk Hazard bcs of Luffy's desire to go where the needle is most hectic. Even when Nami and Usopp protested he was firm on it. And that kicked off the events that followed
And ever since post TS we have seen numeros times people being willing to die for Luffy saying he will be PK like thats their life goal wheres every single one of them have. their own dreams.

Usopp and Nami protest anything they deem scary, which is pretty much everything. Luffy went to Punk Hazard because he sensed adventure from the distress call that was made. That's always how Luffy's been, and the Straw Hats have accepted that. Not to mention Punk Hazard was the whole entire setup to where we are now.
Luffy screaming out and defending people's dreams with no setup is just nonsensical. Nobody is mocking Sanji for wanting to find All Blue. Nobody is mocking Nami for wanting to map the World. Nobody is mocking the rest of the Straw Hats for their dreams. People defend Luffy's dream because others are constantly mocking it.
Hell none of the other Straw Hats have really even acknowledged or brought up their own dreams since postskip started. If they did, and someone mocked it, then you can rest assured Luffy would defend it.

You like to take things out of context....the only dream that is constantly getting mocked is "becoming a pirate king"...no one mocked Nami for drawing the world map, no one mocked Sanji all blue dream, no one mocked Zoro "WSS" dream....so there was no instance or situation that Luffy needed to defend their dreams...and moreover, Luffy was ready to cut his hands after listening to Pudding conspiracy to kill Sanji but hey he won't care about his nakama...alright...Luffy cares enough of Sanji even after he humiliated him.....the only reason post tea party happened because Sanji wanted to save his family and Luffy complied to that...

All 3 are pretty explanatory given their hype pre-TS and their performance after-TS.
I don't dislike them per say, they have just over-promised and under-delivered.
Hawkin is literally a scrub who is only gonna recruit fodders as his crew members so he can use them as straw figures.

Luffy decided to go to PH back in FI against the advice of Nami and Usopp.
No one is mocking their dreams because no one talks about their dreams. It is Luffy Luffy Luffy, his character grew more selfish and greedy with only his dream being worthy.

I won't say i don't like them anymore, but they definitely deceased on my List:
Kid ---> Very Disappointing Portrayal
Kuma ---> I prefer him way better when he was conscious
Sanji ---> Cucked too much
Shiryu ---> His value as a Swordsman decreased because he chose to eat Invisibility DF
Ace ---> Got tired of him
King ---> The Background Calamity
Denjiro ---> He was way cooler as Kyoshiro
Hawkins ---> Lacks Willpower
Chinjao ---> Calling him "Legend" & giving him "CoC" was a Mistake & false Hype imo

Hawkins his DF is cool but he’s just a puppet to Kaido, even if he turns out to be on the Alliance’s side it’s still meh, could see a lot of cool things with him so hopefully we get to see more of him,
I feel like some characters here mentioned we just haven’t got the focus on them or they’ve already had they’re part, we still got a lot left but rn our focus is the strongest characters

Luffy, Sanji, and Big Mom.
Luffy's plotkai is getting ridiculous. First he learned Future Sight in 2 minutes now he's learning Advanced COC after tanking one of Kaido's strongest attacks in base form? That on top of the fact that pre time skip it was about the crew as a whole, now its only about Luffy and random side characters. FOH.
Sanji has been completely ruined.
Bi Mom was cool at the tea party but she quickly lost all of her appeal as the arc went on with the wedding cake shit. Now I feel like she's stealing Kaido's spotlight.
