There should be a lot of ways:

BB killing Law is ok but no blood etc. Otherwise it goes from shounen to seinen and so no go. Also this after all is still a manga for young boys so probably a lot if readers wouldn't like it. Big fights anyway do wonders, Marineford is widely liked because of that and Ace and WB deaths.
