Controversial Check in Eurowings

Hello i need some help.

I booked a flight with Eurowings, i checked in online and i have my boarding pass but they never asked me for my passport number. Its basically a boarding pass with my name only.

Is this normal ? Every other time i have travel with another company they asked me during the check in. I tried to contact them but they dont have a live chat system and i didnt receive an answer when i send them email.

There's another check in while boarding... maybe they will verify it then 💀.
Hopefully.

A friend of a friend just told me that they didnt ask for the passport number because the flight is between Schengen Area EU.

These Eurowings mofos dont have a live chat nor answering my emails and my flight is in 36h :crazwhat:
