I think so kaidou as a villain he surpasses Kenjaku and Meruem, surpass is a strong word I would say they are equivalent, but the chimera arc for me is better.

I love JJK, but I have to say HxH's Chimera arc is better.
However, Shibuya arc is the only one from modern shounen that comes close to Chimera arc.

JJK the shibuya arc is better written well on point and the brain is being used to the highest level


HXH has a lot of delayed thinking and talking thats the only minus point but the main villain is far better than Kenjaku and co a point fot HXH

The difference for me is that Sukuna killed dozens of people without any remorse there was no sentimental nor anything just brutally slaughtered

overall I like the shibuya incident more because its different build from the main stream they did introduce new things MC killing so many people and just wishes him to be death

Gon crying over his friend and lose all is also heartbreaking but this one is above

Normally the good guys are always outmachted and faced against opponents that are too strong for them this time it was the villains who were outmatched and you felt like cheering for the villains because you pitied them I love this Shibuya is a masterpiece

Which is better

Chimera is better written. HxH is a better written story overall, and the Chimera Ant Arc is the peak of HxH. JJK isn't bad at all and Shibuya is quite good, but Chimera is simply better.

Which do you like more?

I like Shibuya more. Watching Gojo the GOAT wreak stuff is awesome. Then in the second half Sukuna goes off too. It has quite a few hype moments. Kenjaku's reveal as well.

-Plot

Both plots were quite interesting, but like I said Chimera is simply better written so it gets the nod.

-Main characters

Gon and Killua in Chimera vs Yuji and Megumi in Shibuya? Both groups are great, but overall Gon and Killua are better imo. Yuji and Megumi are not far behind tho.

-Side characters

Gojo clears.

-Villains

Meruem clears. Even though I like both Sukuna and Kenny more. This might change when we get more on Sukuna and Kenny.

-Power system

HxH has the best power system most likely. However JJK's one is up there too.

-Characterization

Chimera.

-Enjoyment

Shibuya.


The other parts are more for the full story rather than just one arc.
