Coby is maybe pre-skip Luffy level right now and even that is a very generous assumption.
It's also not like he's a prodigy like Luffy - who himself needed 2 years + multiple death fights against top tiers to reach that level.
Coby is talented (as seen with his CoO), but he's nowhere near the freak level/natural born fighter that guys like Luffy are.
Him even being able to compete against the likes of Kuzan etc. by the time the final war arrives would be hilariously bad and inconsistent writing on Oda's part.
