Looking at the characters on the left and right specifically I thought it was interesting to looking at the pairings Oda chose to make.

Kaido/BM = ended up as allies and 2 major antagonists of the NW

Hawkins/Apoo = both ended up being traitors

Blackbeard/Kuzan = They seem to be connected to each other although its doubtful that Kuzan is genuine

Killer/Doffy = I'll admit that I don't see the connection here

Shanks/Sakazuki = Both are endgame material, this one intrigues me the most as I think Shanks being paired with BB and Sakazuki with Dragon makes more sense

Kkd/Jinbe = Again I don't see the connection.

Shanks and BB are actually facing each other. They are connected. The opposites to them, Kuzan and Sakazuki, are people who took orders from BB or Shanks. Kuzan is currently an underling of Teach and Shanks ordered Akainu to go home at MF and he did as told.

Killer/doflamingo: possibly relatives maybe even brothers like a old theory suggests

shanks/akainu: endgame yonko and endgame marine

Kidd/jinbe: both have beef with big mom. Big no. Threatens fishman island and big mom ruined kidds reputation
