My list of Wano criticisms
Orochi's Character. Had a great opportunity to make him beast of a Shogun, made him a loser coward who got beheaded by Kaido
Kibi Dangos
Shusui Plotline with Gyukimaru stealing it, that was dumb
Kyoshiro (wasted opportunity there)
Sumo Plotline
Luffy immediately causing trouble
BM losing her memory...
Amount of chapters dedicated to Udon (plot was good, just too damn long)

The Ice Oni virus plotline could have lead to a power-up for Chopper.
King is trash.
The other Flying Six members should have been introduced earlier in Wano, maybe foreshadow Who's Who's rivalry with Queen earlier.
Amnesia.
No strong samurai opponent.
Not enough Law panels.
Brook is irrelevant.
Still a great arc though.

Kaido is the worst character Oda has ever written. His personality is an inconsistent mish-mash of random character traits that contradict each other left and right, and he feels more like a gag character than an actual villain. One second, he’s eager to find a place to die and to start the world’s greatest war, and the next second he’s begging his subordinates to keep Big Mom out of Wano out of fear of the conflict she may bring with her. One second he’s desperate to entertain himself and wants to start a war with the whole world, and the next second he’s screaming like a little bitch because the Samurai can actually give him paper cuts.
Wano has no story whatsoever. In the past, OP has had fairly interesting plots like the Dance Powder/Revolution being masterminded by Crocodile plot lines in Alabasta, the hypocrisy of the World Government’s Peace & Justice in Enies Lobby, the commentary on racism in Fishman Island, etc. but the story of Wano is literally just Luffy learning magic punches that allow him to hurt Kaido. That’s it. And almost all of this story is off-paneled anyway, the only part of it we explore is Luffy saying “I want to learn the magic anti-Kaido Haki!” And then he just learns it off screen while we go through the dumbest flashback in OP history featuring the second worst character Oda has ever written in Kozuki Oden.
Oda tried to hide the fact that Wano has literally no story whatsoever by creating the third worst character he has ever written in Otama. When Oda realized how garbage Wano was about to be, he tried to create the worst “please show me sympathy” character in manga history, an 8 year old girl who is just so mistreated by the comically evil Kaido! And who can’t wait for Ace-Ni to eventually return to her some day! Otama’s role in Wano is simple: get the metaphorical shit kicked out of her left and right so Oda can go for cheap sympathy points. “See how evil Kaido and Orochi are?? This poor little helpless girl!!” *Cries in Shonen*
Yeah speaking of Orochi, what the fuck was that? Was purpose did this character serve? Talk about a character who was literally in-power for no reason whatsoever. In a real manga, this repulsive piece of shit would’ve been beheaded the second he tried to claim the Shogunate for himself, but this is OP and Oda has to sleep deprive himself for thousands of hours to come to the conclusion that “fans really won’t expect it if it makes absolutely no sense that the Shogun of Wano is weak as shit and has no legitimate claim to ruling Wano! Expectations subverted!”
I could go on since absolutely nothing about Wano is good in anyway. Whole Cake Island is high art compared to this trash.

Otamas devil fruit, most parts of Udon, Orochi (he was okay as a villain but I wanted a epic Shogun with the strength of an admiral), O-Lin plot, Luffy conquering Udon without anyone noticing ( too easy and too much luck), not enough infos on cursed swords, more infos regarding Ryuma ( seeing his grave and a flashback maybe), Robin was underused as always and one week of training seems to short to me but it’s a Shonen
Big Mom's amnesia subplot
Oda off paneling certain fights that we should have seen such Kiku vs Kanjuro along with Sulong Inu and Neko vs Jack
The Udon chapters
Oda bringing in the BMP and then having them do nothing with the exception of Big Mom and Perospero
Tama taming the SMILE users

1. Zoro doing jack shit to round up Samurai. Legit first time we see him he is doing opposite and being tried as a killer
2. O-tama. Seriously, fuck everything about this character. It is cheap Rebbeca
3. Yasui - you could have literally removed him from the story and not much would change
4. Sword Stealer dude - Literally never seen again
5. Enma - Instead of making Zoro strong on his own accord lets give him a weapon that is strong for him and make him depend on it.
6. Luffy in Udon is the dumbest fucking shit i have ever seen in OP. If that was any real prison Luffy would have been tortured to the point of breaking like Theon in Game of Thrones. Not giving him a personal gym, chef and trainer.
7. Big Mom loosing memory, served no purpose what so ever
8. King is fucking useless
9. Kaido is absolute trash and Big Mom is way better than him character and power wise
10. Orochi is a disgrace and wasted potential
11. Port plot wss cheap
12. Apperantly all Kaido men are worthless and far from Monsters we were lead to believe
13. Everyone besides Luffy and Zoro are 2nd rate
14. Marco even tho he cool seems like a cheap plot piece to keep people warm

16. Chopper discovering the cure without any lab equipment in mere seconds
17. Law throwing rocks at Kaido
18. Law being a sudden dick that cant take orders and work as a team player
19. Usopp is useless cunt that sold his crew to live few seconds longer
