Death is unbeatable but he also can't beat Luffy in a physical confrontation from what we've seen. Just not really able to see where the fight goes if he cant hurt Luffy, or really most other One Piece high-top tiers.
Saw the story stuff for KFP 4, looks interesting. Seems like there might be some kind of timeskip since he wants a successor

Im not a One Piece fan, let alone a fanboy. If anything I’m much more of an avid fan of Dreamworks movies than I am One Piece. But it doesn’t stop me from looking at this from an objective point of view between the two characters based on what they’ve both done.

Death in Puss n Boots has no comparison, because it's just straight up death.
Luffy cannot kill nor break him, he's freaking death.
And if I remember correctly didn't Death from the Puss n Boots movie also walk through existence erasure or something of the sorts.

Death has no defeating anyone nor getting hurt, but the Logic is that Death hasn't punched anyone super hard according to Luffy fanboys, this applies to the Endless Death too.

DreamWorks Death has a physical form with physical limits comparable to what a genuine mortal body in that verse would have otherwise physical attacks wouldn't have any affect on him. They clearly do hence why Puss can even fight him to begin with.
