Wtf? Whitewashing is racism or at least colourism. It causes a LOT of issues for people with darker skin colours too. I've had a couple of people tell me IRL I'd be more popular and likeable if I were "white" too.

There's gigantic industries for skin bleaching in Africa and India for example, because of hate towards darker skin people even from their own people and thus bias for paler or even whiter skin especially.
She is much lighter than "13%" here. Also funnily enough that number is used a LOT by actual racists to dog whistle about black crime in Anerica too.
But I guess if this shit doesn't affect you, you won't understand and it's irrelevant, right? People are just "overreacting". FOH.
