It's funny he probably sees her the same way Rosie sees him but I think Rosie may secretly care for Alastor a little just like Al does for Niffty too. Niffty adores him for good reason ofc. He's kinda the Loki of Hazbin in a way lmao.

yeah see rosie more of mother figure towards alastor lol, and alastor parenting niffty, though i remember it was stated he make a horrible parent lmao. but at least he tried based of how he looks out for niffty and adores her, and kept her roach crown, best dad!

Lmao yeah, I noticed his reaction at the gun part, he definitely got protective and worried about her. People really don't understand his character when they claim he's pure evil, they really need it spelled out for them.
Ooooh being his actual daughter would be interesting. Maybe like a homunculi or something? Idk if he had any children IRL and idk if he can have children in hell but I think its possible for sinners to have kids? I'm not certain on that though. He definitely is like a father figure to her and thus as you said, Rosie a mother figure to him too.
Ironically people like him are stereotyped to make bad parents and if you look at Dexter Morgan in Dexter, that topic also comes up with him but he turns out to be a really amazing, loving, caring, selfless father even to his own complete surprise and its some of the most emotional, heartwarming parts of the series. Alastor kinda reminds me of that but a lot more subtle ofc. Best dad indeed haha, I always felt in Hell's Greatest Dad when he said he saw Charlies as a daughter, he wasn't just talking to rile up Lucifer too ofc, I do feel there was hidden depth to that, that he sincerely meant it too deep down, even if it wasn't intentional/conscious on his part.
I remember when people though his deal with her would end up playing into him protecting her somehow and he's secretly been trying to help her grow as a person and in strength and confidence, as a leader and hotel manager, to support the hotel secretly and be there for her since Lucifer is useless and deadbeat and Lilith isn't there ofc.
