Controversial Conqueror’s Haki Is So Trash

Sky split existed even pre TS.
Mentioned first by Hiriluk as something happening when great pirates fight. Then we got to see with Whitebeard/Shanks.
Even back then (once conqueror's haki was revealed of course), people theorized that this was conqueror's haki.
Obviously conqueror's haki was going to be something more than fodder control and an indication of potential. For the longest time, the question was what was it going to be, rather than simple presumption that it's just fodder control.
I will however agree that it being advanced armament 2.0 but superior, was a big let down.
But I am sure that there will be more to it. Like, Asura is implied to be manifestation of conqueror's haki. We will probably see more interesting developments of conqueror's haki in the future, let's see.

Well I am not gonna lie, Conqueror's haki is trash, it's just a stronger CoA in combat only difference being the haki trail lol.
CoA and CoO at least make sense with everything they have been described to do. What does Conqueror's coating mean? What does it do to an opponent? Right just a stronger CoA. Before Wano CoC was trash and useless, now it's not useless but still trash.
Would have made sense if it served as an amplifier of CoA and CoO. Internal CoA teaching the user to channel CoC and therefore amplifying it but why limit it with CoA only then. Too similar.

I agree, basic CoC doesnt offer much besides fodder control and Kidd is a disappointment.

In fact, Doflamingo placed Luffy straight up over Law despite his broken devil fruit... all because he had CoC.
Again, I'm not gonna even try to justify Oda's lack of creativity in making it little more than an "uber powerful version CoA for the elite"; all im saying is that CoC stocks were always gonna go up even before 1010 happened.

Fights still are creative and haki although is the most important factor is not the only important one. Haki came to make it fair between DF users and no DF users specially logia.
CoC is not like Sharigan because initially only fodders used to fall for CoC and now it just boosts your attack. Sharigan is a completely different shit that I agree it was overpowered bullshit. Also unlike Sharigan that you have to born from a certain family CoC can be obtained by literally anyone.
