Yes we are about to run out. Luckly it hasn't happened yet overall.

Yes I feel the same mate!! Everything is stalled except for a few cases. Our economy will definitely die quickly

Yes. You should really consider leaving when things are better with the virus because even if they make money or do whatever they would do to make Italy more stable, the consequences will comer later. I really an not in favor of this way of controlling the virus

Yet it is the only way. Nobody wanted to do this to our economy yet it was necessary, both the gov and the opposition agreed on that because all the doctors said we must do it unless we want to see hospitals collapse under numbers they can not face.

About 10% of the cases need intensive care aka machines to support their vital functions for a period yet with the level of contagion we have now the structures in Lombardy, the region with one of the best health care systems, are working even above their capacity and barely keeping up with the people who needs to be cured. If this spreads any further be it in Lombardy or other regions of Italy with a worse and or less structures the doctors will have to choose who they have to save. So this total blockade.

Also this is the method used in China and now, it seems, the situation in Wuhan is almost under control. We have to make this heavy sacrifices now that it can still somewhat be contained, or at least I hope so, to come out from this crisis earlier and better.

The crisis coming from the economy is much worse than the coronavirus.

And do you really think Wuhan being controlled means anything? The only way we are gonna solve this is to have something that cures it, not stop the world's economy for 40 days.

For the antivirus it is estimated we have to wait 18-24 months, in the meantime the situation here is what I posted above. Do you think politicians were willing to do this if it was not absolutely necessary? This virus can easily go from one person to another and despite all the measures we took before this blockade (smartworking where we could, close schools, secluded areas) it keep spreading. The estimates are that the number of infected doubles every 4 days, if we don't take radical measures now then later ot will be too late. Also if we don't do this what should we do?

Wait for the real solution. A cure.

That's the only possible and real solution. Closing everyone in their homes won't stop a virus, and as i said and you seem to be ignoring, it would have a much worse impact in the lives of people than the virus. Im just saying, this solution is stupid and it get us into big, big problems in the future, while it is NOT a solution.
