Powers & Abilities Could old Garling have a black blade?

#47
It tells me non-WSS, non-black blade user Roger wasn't strong enough.

Also Mihawk doesn't put himself below PK and his rival, but I'm not going through that conversation for the 1000th time, so don't bring that point to me, enjoy the thread about that if you want to.

Mihawk is factually above Roger's mid-gen stand-in Shanks.

PD: I re-read the post that you were quoting and I didn't even claim Mihawk was stronger than any of them in it, I just claimed "better". So I'm not allowed to call the called "strongest", stronger, but I'm also not allowed to call the called "more skilled", better? Get out of here.
Shanks is 1 cm taller than Mihawk lol there is no argument left to be had

the fact that PK doesn't have a black blade should tell you that it's not about being stronger. it's about skill.

cause mohawk himself puts him below pk and his rival.
He puts surpassing him below attaining the title of Pirate King. There is a difference.

You can definitely make the argument that PK is harder simply because you need to gather allies to help you achieve the goal, whereas WSS can be achieved on a solely individual basis. Mihawk wouldn't beg WB for Oden for example. Good luck finding someone who can read the ancient texts.

Mihawk also mentions the ability to create allies out of everyone you meet is the most terrifying ability in the seas.

Which also happens to be Nika's inherent ability.

So no, the title of PK does not necessarily have to be harder based on individual strength. But other factors.

Ofc I'm probably wasting my time, because I see you devoting your life to slandering Mihawk on this website.

A black blade is literally pointless to anyone who is aiming for the title of pirate king. Could you imagine Marco telling Vista to stall Roger. Blackbladss will have some bs sword will acceptance shite. It has nothing to do with power.

Black blades can be passed around. It does not really mean much if it is not confirmed that the user made it black themselves. So far we only have the confirmation that Ryuma forged his own blade. Not even Mihawk has confirmation.
If anyone can aquire a black blade that they did not make themselves then the most obvious choice is the CDs, especially higher ranking ones. Which makes it even more necessary for Oda to spell it out unambiguously that the wielder actually made the blade black.

We do not know how a black blade is made. There are only theories and implications. The most common theory is that only the absolute strongest swordsmen are able to forge one, without knowing the actual process.
Roger was never the strongest of his era. He could only defeat Xebec with the help of the strongest Marine/s. Even at his prime Roger never managed to reach the peak. He always had other pirates that were on his level or possibly above it.
Not a problem, really, because there is also no confirmation, so far, that black blades are an indication of strength. It may as well be related to a special talent that is hard to aquire, but useless in combat. Like being able to cut poneglyphs. This is just an example though so do not take it too literally.
We do not know.

Since Yoru is the strongest sword, it can cut through anything. In a fight, Yoru is the most powerful.
