All caught up. Senjumaru’s Bankai was broken af, highkey just ragdolled all the elite Quincys without even trying, and we didn’t even see the final attack. If I hadn’t seen the comments about Senjumaru I wouldn’t be expecting something like that at all but it was still surprising.

Her bankai is just as strong as Yamamoto’s in terms of power if not stronger with what she said about it causing all 3 worlds to shake, that’s lowkey not far from casual SK Yhwach flexing with Mimihagi. The anime did a good job making them live up to the original hype:
Still think Nimaya should have gotten more with him literally being the creator of the zanpakto lol but it seems Kubo didn’t give the animation team much on him. Senjumaru getting the shine is better than none of them getting the shine, kind of funny how they had to lowkey kill the rest of them to achieve that though lol.

The flashbacks have been great additions, the longest one in duration with Ichibe and Yhwach signing a peace deal was pretty interesting to see. It added a bit more exposition to Yhwach’s character and his goals which was lacking in the manga. Tho wild to see how Ichibe was the one who sealed Yhwach for 1000 years, Ichibe adding to his resume of feats and some people were arguing that Yamamoto can beat this guy lmao.

If the RG got fleshed out like this, can’t wait to see what they do with the final battle.

It's not even a question of "if" we literally see them shaking (Isshin was in the world of the living, then we also see the seireitei shaking too). This is supposedly them releasing the "slightest" bit of their true power. They're finally living up to their hype.

I think it's a great addition tbh, it makes more sense why they lost since they can't access their full power with these conditions. Also the fact that they're immortal makes it more reasonable since they would never have to resort to this for most of their time.

It's also interesting that we see Ichibei exposed with his lie. Yhwach saw the truth of what happened and we as the viewers saw a glimpse. We saw Ichibei holding the corpse of the Soul King with that evil grin while in CFYOW he said that he was never there during the split. It's an interesting perspective that we got.
