The Cross Guild, led by Buggy, is a bunch of pirates that Luffy has defeated with the exception of Mihawk. Buggy has been hunting for Captain John's Treasure since the beginning of his history. Captain John was most likely among the Rocks Pirates. This treasure could be the very last Poneglyph that Luffy so desperately needs. Before the battle with Robb Lucci, all of this seemed impossible, but now one can easily imagine the final clash of the Straw Hat Pirates with their enemies, whom they had long since defeated.
It is possible that Doflamingo and other pirates will also join the Cross Guild, so Luffy will face a real armada, as in the battle between Roger and Shiki. It was at this point that Zoro would defeat Mihawk and obtain the title of World's Strongest Swordsman.
