In Brook's flashback, Reuven who appearance looks like Davy was a King of the Kingdom of music and he loves Brook's music. Brook's music are rhymes and rap are almost the same. I think Davy D. Jones could be a DJ Rapper which is indicated from the alphabets of his name's initial.
