Interesting, only time I ever see those two team up is if darkseid is involved

I can see Lex being the Loki of the new DCU, he'll appear and cause trouble in various movies but outside the first one i don't see him being the main threat

Brainiac, I think the second movie is to early for him, there wouldn't be enough build up and the first big screen brainiac should come with a bang

Zod- meh he's a boring villain in most media, except young just he was dope in that


Darkseid- I always thought of him as a justice league villain rather than a superman villain

I think the best villain for superman to fight right now would be Amazo

When done right he's powerful enough to push superman to his absolute limits but he's also just a machine meaning he'd be taking orders from someone else which would be a great way to introduce Star labs

It won’t be Zod nor Bizarro nor Darkseid

Zod was already used in MoS

Darkseid was partly used in the DCU and he is more a end game villain than a second movie villain

and Bizarro was kinda already used in the first movie with the clone

So Brainiac why not and can be good

We need Lex Luthor from DCAU, that guy was the real Luthor.

Most of Superman villains are JL lvl threat btw. Also, ain't Amazo too broken and also an JL lvl threat?

But I do want Mongul to get his chance. Dude was a beast who starred in one of the most famous Superman stories of all time. He was also IIRC the first villain who gave Pre-Crisis Superman a fight he had to struggle to win.
