From the BB perspective, It would kind of the same problem since there would still be another forger of BBs outside Mihawk and Ryuma.

From Aramaki's/Oda's, it would kind of useless to give him a weapon that he doesn't "deserve" when at that point a normal sword (even a Saijo I mean) would be just the same.

Basically this:

If he has one, it's because he forged it. If he's not a good swordsman, it doesn't even make sense for Oda give him a sword like that, let alone create a random samurai just for Greenbull to have stolen a sword that he doesn't even use properly.
