I provided a meme because you answer was made into a meme by the internet given the sheer dumbenss of It.
Not my fault if It's laughable and people laugh at It.
Quesiton: are you able to undestand what I posted?
Let's try again:
Page about Bokkens:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bokken
Page about hamons:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamon_(swordsmithing)
No Bokken has hamons, because hamons are product of steel tempering/forging. Easy enough now?
You can check on the official page I linked.
What you posted Is a replica, made in wood or plastic, of a real Katana. Basically a model/Toy.
But again, I expect some argument about plastic Katana toys having an hamon now
.
Do I need to remind you of what happened with Who's Who and his weapon?
People thought he was a swordsman and he had a sword. His weapon looked like a sword, had a sword size sheath, and has a sword size handle.
Guess what? He wasn't a swordsman and his weapon wasn't a sword. It was a short blade.
If someone back then would have claimed his weapon wasn't a sword people would have said the same thing you said about Aramaki's weapon. They would have said it's a sword because it look like a sword, created memes claiming it's a sword, laughed at anyone who disagree and called them dumb. Yet, they all would have been wrong.
In fact, similar happened with WsW. Fans claimed he was a swordsman and Zoro needed to beat him to prove he wasn't veteran level because somehow being multiple veteran level characters before the war wasn't enough. They we're wrong and took a major L.
Instead of basing my opinion of the weapon strictly on its appearance, like you and others, I'm basing it off the story and patterns. The way Oda is writing Aramaki's weapon is different than the way he writes black blades.
I already said the way we know a sword is a black blade is by the manga telling us it's a black blade. Oda doesn't wait to tell us a weapon is a black blade.
That didn't happen with Aramaki's weapon. It's been 83 chapter since Aramaki's weapon was revived and there are no scenes stating it's a black blade.
Oda has his black blade users show off and use their black blade immediately.
We saw that from Mihawk and Ryuma but not from Aramaki. Aramaki has had plenty of opportunities and opponents to use his weapon against.
His battle in the Holy Land who have been the the perfect opportunity since his DF power was to destructive to use there.
Since I'm talking about an admiral we should look at Fujitora.
He was a character that was introduced with a weapon that appeared to be a wooden cane that turned out to be a sword.
Hold on? Did anyone else catch that?
Oda introduced 2 new admirals who both possess weapons. He showed us both characters as a child.
One, Fujitora, is a swordsman, trained in swordsmanship as a child, has a weapon from Wano, combines his DF power with his swordsmanship and wants or wanted to be like Ryuma. He possess a sword that looks like a wooden cane.
The other one, Aramaki, has a DF power that allows him to create and control wood, used a wooden club as a child, and discriminate against people from Wano. Instead of him weilding a wooden bokken that looks like a sword, the direct opposite of Fujitora's weapon which make since, you think Oda gave him a black blade.
About the hamon, it can be crafted into a wooden bokken. Since you think that is impossible in a fictional series. I'm going to remind you of a character who can create swords from biscuits.
Those toy swords made Luffy struggle.
I used logic and manga facts to support my post and show why, more than likely, his weapon is a wooden bokken.
