Mihawk never taught zoro about how to achieve kokuto that's shitty theory you guys concocted on your own. He was taught how to use Coa coat his blades to protect them from breaking the basic so he could keep growing on his own. Ray said 2 years was just enough to master the basics

For reference Fujitora had a scratch or dirt whenever blocking a G3 EG, Yamatrash with ACoC couldn't even do that much, pretty insane. Honestly Oda probably knew he was gonna use GB for movie promo so he went a bit overboard with his feats, I mean he manhandled the Scabbards far easier than Kaidou, bodied King and Queen like they were nothing (this should never happen, even Big Mom aside (she struggled with far weaker characters) commanders weren't moving like that in MF), and legit showed better durability than the Rocks duo.
