it doesn't make sense. There are absolutely zero connections between Denjiro and Koshiro except their appearance. But that means nothing because when you discount Oda's art style, Denjiro could be anybody

but here are the facts. Koshiro already has ties to Wano. He is obviously a member of the shimotsuki clan. He lives in shimotsuki village, and he has Shimotsuki Kouzaburo's sword(wado). It fits so perfectly that there is no reason for it not to be the case that Kouzaburo was the father/grandfather of Koshiro.
Given all Oda has build up between Kouzaburo and Koshiro, the only way it makes sense for denjiro to be Koshiro is if denjiro was a shimotsuki, which makes no sense since the Shimotsuki were nobility/royalty and denjiro was an orphan. Surely Yasu would not let his own family member live as an orphan.
Overall making Denjiro koshiro when Koshiro already has ties to other wano characters just seems like a stretch.
So who is Denjiro? I don't know. Maybe he is Zoro's father, maybe he is Koshiro's father, maybe he is greenbul, or maybe he just died a miserable death trying to fight kaido. There are so many possibilities that it doesn't make sense for us to fixate on the ones that are the least likely
