Speculations Devil Fruit awakening is born from the user's desire

#1
I've seen a lot of people take issue with how characters like Lucci, Doflamingo, and Katakuri have awakened devil fruits, but Kaido and Big Mom don't. However considering what we've learned about Devil Fruits in this arc (that they're born from desires), one theory I have that would explain this is that Devil Fruit awakenings happen when the user's desires correlate to whatever desires have birth to that Devil Fruit to begin with.

So going through the awakened DF users we know of:

- Luffy desires freedom (Both for himself and his friends) -> Nika represents a desire for freedom and liberation -> he awakened his fruit

- Doflamingo desires to dominate and manipulate people -> the String String fruit represents a desire to control people (think puppets on a string) -> he awakens his fruit

- Lucci desired to be an "apex predator" after his defeat by Luffy -> Leopards are apex predators -> he awakened his fruit

- Kaku by his own admission really likes giraffes -> He has a giraffe zoan -> he awakened his fruit

- Katakuri really likes donuts and sweets -> He has a mochi paramecia -> he awakened his fruit

I'm not really sure how Law or Kidd would fit into this, but then again we don't really know what desires gave birth to those fruits to begin with. I have a theory with Law though. Maybe Law's Awakening happened because he saw the suffering that the SMILE users were going through and (secretly) wanted to help them. Since his fruit is ostensibly a surgery Devil Fruit, that desire allowed him to awaken his Devil Fruit. Said awakening still wasn't enough to cure the SMILEs, but that's beside the point. We don't really know as much about Kidd compared to Law, so it's hard to say what caused him to Awaken his DF.

My real example here is Bonney, cause at this point she's gotta be an awakened DF user even if she doesn't know it. Her power is technically nothing more than manipulating ages, but in practice it's more like "I can do anything I might POSSIBLY be able to do in the future." And there's no way that isn't an awakened ability, right?

And if my theory about DF awakening being born from the user's desires is correct, then this would make perfect sense. The Age Age fruit is obviously born from the desire to be older/younger. Bonney spent the first couple years of her life waiting until the day she could turn 10 so she could finally go on adventures with Kuma. Her biggest desire in the world was to be older, which coincidentally is the exact same power her fruit represents.

I will offer an out-of-the-box approach to this problem.

So far, you are suggesting the following.

1. Devil Fruits are created by desires.
2. Therefore, Devil Fruit Awakenings are created by the desires that made the fruit.

Essentially, the word problem form of this would resemble the following:
A man desires Ice and then an Ice Fruit is made. He eats the Ice Fruit and Becomes an Ice Man. Later, he desires Ice again and then he becomes an Awakened Ice Man.

That logic may be faulty. The argument may be weak as it lacks sufficient evidence to support its claims, and it borders on circular logic.

How about instead of Something desires make a Something Fruit, and Something desires make an Awakened Something Man we try analyzing types of desires to generate ideas about what types of thoughts cause changes and what kinds of changes are actually occurring?

I suggest that the main difference with types of thoughts in this story involve Divine and Non-Divine thoughts. Divine thoughts allow a person to gain access to Divine energy in many eastern cultures. If you can't access Divine thoughts, then you can't use the Purple/White Lotus Chakra also known as Heavenly King Chakra (Luffy's White theme, Purple sash, and Conquering King Haki SURELY has nothing to do with this *rolls eyes*)

I've been questioned about this line of reasoning by others because they think villains can't have Divine thoughts or Paths of Righteousness. These are two elements in my own reasoning that I use.

Personally, I think Devil Fruits contain subtle energy. That subtle energy is passed on every time the Rebirth Cycle occurs, and it changes every time somebody has a thought. The fact that Devil Fruits evolve and respond to people's desires as they evolve may detract from the idea that they must revert to an original person's desires to be used properly. It is faulty to say that the Devil Fruit someone has consumed is the same Devil Fruit that had once existed- it is not the same anymore because it has evolved many times since the original person had it.

This has been explored multiple times already here. Main reason is it would make Kaido and BM too OP and undefeatable. Oda had to nerf Kaido by having him fight multiple characters + not letting him go all out from the start + lifting an island during the entire fight.

Kaido at the end was still the one on the offensive against G5 Luffy. Imagine how OP awakened Kaido would be.

Same goes for BM.
