Powers & Abilities DF swordsmen and awakening

So in one piece, there are several characters confirmed to be swordsmen by Oda who are also DF users. In particular, Law and fujitora stand out to me. While these characters are confirmed swordsmen, some fans question the validity of their swordsmanship. Because these DFs can be used for more than simply slashing and because their swordsmanship is so heavily powered by their DFs, in some fans eyes, this means they are not real swordsman.

However with Law, I think we saw something intriguing with his awakening. Law used his awakening in a manner very similar to how a "pure swordsman" like zoro would use CoA and CoC. Law coated his sword with a room, he applied his awakening directly to his sword. I think this underscores how Law is in fact a swordsman. Kata never did the same for his trident, Doffy didn't do the same to his guns, yet Law applied his awakening directly to his weapon, showing how integral it is to his fighting style.

Anyways the purpose of this thread was to basically speculate on how awakening might be used to by other DF swordsmen. imo, it will be used in a similar manner to Law's. Fuji's awakening is probably functionally identical to Kid's, yet I doubt we'd ever see him use it that way. Rather, I think Fuji will use his awakening like Law and give his sword its own gravitational field.
In doing so, Fuji would make his weapon far more deadly than the average sword. Because of the gravitational field, once one is cut by fuji's blade, their body is pulled deeper into the sword. A simple cut might draw out large amounts of blood, due to Fuji's gravity. He could even give his sword an anti-gravitational field to make it more effective when parrying. Imagine a blade that repels anything that comes near it, it would be the ultimate defense.

I would assume Shiryu would do the same with his awakening, albeit I don't really know what that would be. Perhaps Shiryu could use his awakening to make his blade intangible and thereby making it impossible to block.

Law’s sword is more than just a weapon. Since he is a doctor, it serves as a scalpel for him to perform operations inside his room.

Fujitora channeling his devil fruit power through his shikomizue (sword concealed in cane), is really refreshing to see and I agree he should be able to give it a gravitational field.

And on the side, this reminds me of an anime only scene where WB infused his df into his blade without any quake bubbles shown.

Perhaps Shiryu will manage to turn things invisible too but that will not help against CoO detection, so maybe he can work on that one specifically 🧐

awakening often isn't simply spreading one's power, but spreading a stronger version of one's power to the surroundings

think of Magellan's kinjite or Law's kroom

shiryu won't just coat his sword in invisibility, it will be something even stronger
